Magic cards

We’ve seen them on the streets as well as TV specials: card game swindlers. With slight-of-hand prowess and a basic knowledge of magic tricks, these con artists use card tricks to sucker people out of their money. Although we don’t recommend anyone venturing into the world of con artistry, magic cards are one of the oldest and most celebrated illusions.

Some of the common tricks performed with magic cards include:
• Do As I Do
• Cutting the Aces
• Svengali Deck
• Incredible Spelling
• Mind Reader

Most of these tricks can be performed with a standard deck of cards and a little practice, but novelty shops can also sell separate magic cards. Loaded decks and levitating cards are just a couple examples of magic cards.
