Ever since the 16th century, audiences around the world have been wowed by magicians and street performers. With a couple basic magic supplies and lessons, it’s easy to entertain people with illusions and slight-of-hand tricks.

What are some common magic supplies?

For aspiring magicians who plan on performing for money, it’s fun to develop a persona. Costumes are not necessary magic supplies, but it will make you more memorable to children as well as an easy way to market yourself; “Phil the Great” is better than Phil (sorry Phils!).
